Ropali Corporation, one of the top motorcycle dealers in the Philippines, now holds two Guinness World Records. In the span of four days, Ropali Corporation broke two records, namely: The Largest Parade of Motorcycles with Sidecars and The Largest Simultaneous Motorcycle Burnout. As such, it also became the first motorcycle dealer in the Philippines to become a Double Guinness World Record holder. The record for The Largest Parade of Motorcycles with Sidecars was previously held by the Bullfroggies Beijing Sidecar Club of China with a parade that featured 317 motorcycle units. Ropali, in partnership with Honda Philippines, the History Channel, Cauayan City and the province of Isabela, was able to break the record with 681 motorcycles with sidecars joining a parade held on April 8, 2015.

Aldous Rex Alingog, General Manager of Ropali Motorcycles shared, “This record is part of our Company’s 40th Anniversary Celebration and we choose to hold it in Cauayan because our company started here and we want the world to know about the beautiful city and people of Cauayan.”

Three days after the record-breaking parade, Ropali Corporation set yet another new Guinness World Record, this time for The Largest Simultaneous Motorcycle Burnout in Tagaytay City, Philippines. In partnership with Kymco Philippines, FDR Tires and the History Channel, Ropali invited a total of 300 Kymco riders to simultaneously perform a motorcycle burnout. This surpassed the record previously set by the Harleystunts and Smokey Mountain Harley-Davidson team in Tennessee, USA with 213 riders.

After the record was broken, Aldous explained the thrust behind this endeavor. “Being in the industry for 40 years, Ropali has been dedicated in providing quality motorcycles to Filipinos, and breaking these records showed that Ropali is world class.”
